PRESCHOOL EDUCATION (DR)
The Preschool Education doctoral program prepares educators to understand the needs of students between birth and eight years of age and to explore their unique educational methods. It aims to identify and train individuals who are educated, equipped, promising the ability to develop appropriate forms of inquiry to address the complexities of the field. This degree provides specialist knowledge of early learning theories, research, leadership and methodologies. The Early Childhood Education doctoral program prepares students for positions in educational research, teacher education and school administration. Individuals with doctoral degrees may pursue careers in curriculum development or policy making, continuing their studies in early childhood classrooms.
