FOR TURKISH CITIZENS

Turkish students are asked to hand in the following documents below for the final registration:

To Undergraduate Programs

  1. Student Selection and Replacement (ÖSYM) Exam result or printout,
  2. The original high school diploma or if the diploma is not prepared, the original graduation certificate or the copy of the certificate which is approved by the University; for students who have completed their high school education abroad the Ministery of Education equivalence certificate or its certified copy,
  3. Identity Number statement,
  4. For male prospective students, a written statement regarding no outstanding obligation with the military.
  5. Six passport photographs (4.5x6 cm)
  6. If it is required for the provisions of the programme/department, a health certificate taken from a healthcare organisation regarding his/ her health status is suitable,
  7. A receipt showing the student has paid the tuition fee determined by the Board of Trustees

For Masters's Degree Programmes

  1. Petition and Application Form
  2. CV
  3. 3 photos
  4. Copy of Identity Card
  5. Military Status Certificate
  6. Graduate Diploma Sample or master diploma or graduation certificate approved by a Notary (if graduating from a foreign university)
  7. Transcript
  8. ALES scores result, or a copy approved by a notary. (Have not exceeded 3 years) for graduating from university at least 70 points, graduating from master program at least 55 points.

For Doctorate Degree Programmes

  1. Petition and Application Form
  2. CV
  3. 3 photos
  4. Copy of Identity Card
  5. Military Status Certificate
  6. Graduate Diploma Sample or master diploma or graduation certificate approved by a Notary (if graduating from a foreign university)
  7. Transcript
  8. ALES scores result, or a copy approved by a notary. (Have not exceeded 3 years) for graduating from university at least 70 points, graduating from master program at least 55points.
  9. Foreign Languages Exam Certification: UDS- at least 55 points, or a score that is equivalent to a standard score indicates that is adopted by the heads of university committee
  10. The candidate's statement is not registered in the institute
  11. 2 reference letters
  12. An article for the aim and cause of doctoral program
  13. Personal application
  14. To be successful in the interview

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Foreign students are asked to hand in the following documents below for the final registration:

To Undergraduate Programs

  1. Student visa and passport and notarised copies of these documents,
  2. The receipt showing the tuition fee has been paid,
  3. The original or certified copy of certificate of residence received from the provincial security directorate
  4. Six passport photographs (4.5x6 cm)
  5. Students must deliver the tuition fee receipt to the relevant office and register in accordance with the procedure assigned by the relevant executive board in due time stated in the academic calendar of the faculty or graduate school students have registered.
  6. Students who do not reregister without an excuse stated in Article 37 Regulation and who have not been accepted by the relevant executive board are considered as failing in that academic year/ semester.

To Graduate Programs

  1. Candidates who graduated from a 4 year university or two-year program in Turkey should provide a copy of his/ her diploma and other documents. A diploma from a foreign country should be translated and approved by a notary. The original copy of Equivalence document from the Board of Higher Education should be attached to the copy of diploma.
  2. The original transcript showing graduation GPA or the exemplum approved by the university; the notery certified translation.
  3. The original document of exam score concerning the knowledge of Turkish or the printout
  4. The original document of science exam score or the printout
  5. Student visa and passport and their notary certified exemplum
  6. The original document of certificate of domicile taken from provincial security directorate
  7. Six passport photographs (4.5x6 cm)
  8. For candidates with scholarship, the original document of the scholarship or certified translation
  9. The receipt showing the payment for the tuition fee determined by the board of trustee

ENROLLMENT FOR THE COURSE UNITS AND REGISTRATION

Students are obliged to determine the courses they will take in the semester by consulting their advisor within the time span stated in the academic calendar. In order to register online at Aydın Student Information System (AYSIS) students must receive a written approval from an academic advisor.

Students who did not enroll in a course during the registration period will not be able to take courses. During late registration period, a student can provide an excuse form (re-registration form) to the academic advisor in order to enroll in classes.

Despite tuition payment, if student does not complete and turn in a reregistration form he/she will not be able to begin courses.

Students are obliged to pay the tuition fee for the academic year or semester they have not reregistered. The period of time students have not reregistered is included in the maximum study period. The Provisions of  Law no. 2547 Article 44 are applied to the students whose completion of graduation is determined  as unsuccessful  within the maximum study period.
