ARC135	INTRODUCTION TO HISTORY AND THEORY OF ARCHITECTURE -I INTRODUCTION TO HISTORY AND THEORY OF ARCHITECTURE -I	Z	2	0	2.0	2.0	2	Derslerin odak konusu olan dönemin siyaset, ekonomi ve kültürel tarihle bağlantısı kurularak mekan geleneğinin neden ve nasıl olduğunun tariflenerek ana akım eğilimleri belirlenir. Her dönemin tipik yapıları ve özgün yapıları beraber ele alınarak, tarihin genellemelerinin kapsamı konusunda öğrencide farkındalık oluşturulması amaçlanır. Bu derste, son milenyumun son on yıllık döneminden geriye gidilerek Antik Mısır'a kadar olan dönemler aktarılır.	By establishing the connection of the period, which is the focus of the courses, with politics, economy and cultural history, the main stream trends are determined by defining why and how the tradition of space is. It is aimed to raise awareness in students about the scope of generalizations of history by considering the typical structures and original structures of each period together. In this course, the periods from the last decade of the last millennium to Ancient Egypt are covered.
ARC177	COMMUNICATION MEDIA -I COMMUNICATION MEDIA -I	Z	2	2	3.0	4.0	4	Ders, 3 boyutlu bir mimari tasarımın 2 boyutlu ortamda paralel projeksiyon teknik çizim yöntemine göre plan, kesit, görünüş temsillerinin oluşturulmasını, US National CAD Layer sistemi ile modül ve blok oluşturma mantığının yerleştirilmesini, dijital ortamda 3 boyutlu mimari modelleme oluşturmanın teknik ve yöntemlerini, tasarlanan mimari nesnenin bağlamsal ve kavramsal çıktılarının göz önünde bulundurulduğu görselleştirme ve sunum ortamının üretilmesi konularını içermektedir.	The course covers the creation of plan, section and aspect representations of a 3D architectural design in a 2D environment according to the parallel projection technical drawing method, the placement of the module and block creation logic with the US National CAD Layer system, the techniques and methods of creating 3D architectural modeling in the digital environment, the designed architecture. It includes the subjects of visualization and production of a presentation environment in which the contextual and conceptual outputs of the object are taken into account.

Her bir kavramın birbirileriyle ilişkisine yönelik örneklenme ve değerlendirme çalışmalarının yapılması.	To analyze buildings and design ideas, the following main topics are examined: structural system, natural lighting, massing, plan-section-elevation relationships, circulation and use areas, from parts (units) to the whole, from repetition to uniqueness, symmetry and balance, geometry, addition and subtraction, hierarchy. Sampled and evaluated studies are conducted to understand the relationship between each concept and its interplay.

ARC321	BUILDING MATERIALS-I BUILDING MATERIALS-I	Z	2	0	2.0	2.0	2	Dersin içeriği; yapı malzemelerinin özellikleriyle ilgili kavramlar, mimarlık - yapı malzemesi ilişkisi kapsamında tanıtılır, yönetmelik ve standartlar değerlendirilir, malzemelerin kalite kontrolü, dayanım ve dayanıklılıkları konularında bilgi verilir, malzeme türlerine göre özellikleri ve farklı etkiler karşısındaki davranışları incelenir, uygulamalarda kullanılabilecek malzemelerin karşılaştırılması yapılır.	Within the scope of the course, concepts related to the properties of building materials will be introduced within the context of architecture - building material relationship, regulations and standards will be evaluated, information is given on the quality control, strength and durability of materials, according to material types, properties and behaviors against different effects will be explained, materials will be compared for any application in building.
ARC323	PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL (STUDIO) PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL (STUDIO)	Z	2	2	3.0	4.0	4	İklim ve iklim elemanları, iklimsel konfor, iklim ve enerji kontrolünde etkili olan yapma çevreye ilişkin tasarım değişkenleri (yer, yön,yapı kabuğu, bina biçimi, bina aralıkları, vb.), yapma çevrenin enerji etkin pasif iklimlendirme sistemi olarak tasarlanması. Işığın tanımı, görsel konfor, ışık kontrolünde etkili olan yapma çevreye ilişkin tasarım değişkenleri (pencereler, hacim boyutları,iç yüzey yansıtıcılıkları, dış engeller, yapma ışık kaynakları, vb.). Yangın olayı, yangın kontrolünde rol oynayan yapma çevreye ilişkin tasarım değişkenleri (yerleşme sıklığı, hacimlerin organizasyonu, yangın merdivenleri, vb.), yangından korunmada yapma çevrenin pasif ve aktifsistemler olarak tasarlanması. Türkiye’de geçerli olan çevresel standartlar ve yönetmeliklerin tanıtılması (yangın yönetmeliği, gürültü yönetmeliği, ısı korunumu yönetmeliği, vb.) In the studio, the following drawings and presentations are produced in accordance with the Drawing and Presentation Standards for the preliminary design project: Site Plan at 1:500 scale, Architectural Construction Project sheets at 1:50 scale, and the production of the structure is ensured with this project.
