BESLENME VE DİYETETİK (DOK)
Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Health Sciences was established under the Rectorate with the Decree of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 10.09.2012 and numbered 280407. With the decision of Istanbul Aydın University Senate dated 13.01.2017 and numbered 2017/01, it was decided to establish the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics within the Faculty, and the department started its educational activities with the decision of the Higher Education Council dated 07.07.2017 and numbered 46092. Accordingly, the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics started its educational activities in the Fall semester of the 2016 - 2017 academic year and gave its first graduates in the Spring semester of the 2019 - 2020 academic year. It was deemed appropriate to open the Nutrition and Dietetics Master's Program under the umbrella of the Institute of Education, and the department's master's program with thesis started its education activities in the fall semester of 2017 - 2018. Istanbul Aydın University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics conducts its teaching, research and community service activities at universal standards and provides its students with a broad-based range of knowledge as well as a learning and progress environment that supports all-round development. In accordance with the vision of our university, the Nutrition and Dietetics Doctorate Program has been opened in order to train academicians who will provide the best service at international standards and quality, progressing on the path shown by science, providing services in hospitals and all areas related to nutrition, and to support the academic staff strength needed in undergraduate programs. As of the fall semester of the 2023 - 2024 academic year, our department actively continues its education and training activities at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
