The Master's degree program in Aerospace Engineering is designed to meet the specialized needs of the aerospace engineering field in both the private sector and higher education institutions. Furthermore, this program offers an opportunity for qualified students from various academic disciplines to receive advanced-level education. Master's students can specialize in civil and military aircraft, rockets, missiles, satellites, and spacecraft. The program consists of 120 ECTS credits, and the normal completion period is 2 academic years consisting of 4 semesters. The student's educational workload is divided into two parts: 60 ECTS credits for coursework (including a minimum of 21 local credits, at least 7 courses, and a seminar course), and the remaining 60 ECTS credits are allocated for the Master's thesis. For students from different academic backgrounds, the coursework load can be adjusted based on their previous education, as recommended by the department chair and approved by the institute's board. Upon successfully completing the program, students are awarded a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace Engineering. Graduate students in this program are expected to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the field of Aerospace Engineering by fulfilling the expanded course and assignment requirements. |
