CHILD DEVELOPMENT
Duty
Prepare and develop developmental support programs that can diagnose and evaluate the development of 0-18 age group children and adolescents with normal development, special needs, acute and chronic diseases, in need of protection and at developmental risk, who will take part in health, education and social fields, and provide family counseling. It aims to raise a child development specialist who can apply, take part in research and application projects, use technological and scientific methods and techniques, adopt an eclectic approach and adhere to ethical values.
Degree Earned
Students in the doctoral program are entitled to receive a "PhD" diploma if the thesis they have prepared in their own branch is deemed successful in the defense exam.
Career Opportunities
Individuals who have graduated from the Child Development doctoral program are able to follow and implement domestic and international innovations at the level of knowledge and practice in the field of child development, planning, conducting and reporting research, sharing research with field workers, following the literature and scientific studies related to the field. They will be able to obtain career opportunities by having high level skills.
