Technological developments, changing dynamic structure of communication, the presence of new media in the face of traditional media and the importance of communication increasing day by day, journalism as a branch of science needs to create academic knowledge that can make sense and manage these changes and developments. The importance of journalism graduate education becomes apparent in order for young people equipped with this academic knowledge to meet the needs of the industry and to undertake international academic studies. It is known that the criterion of being a university graduate in the journalism sector has started to be replaced by a graduate or doctorate degree in recent years and to expertise in journalism.
