Aim
1In the field of information technology, depending on the rapidly developing technology, educate the software technicians who specialize in the information technology with the theoretical skills according to the needs of the industry

3To train individuals who can work both in hardware and software projects
4To educate individuals who are able to research and develop when necessary and who can produce quick and correct solutions to problems and who are prone to team work
Objectives
1To train individuals who have practical and basic theoretical knowledge at entry level in computer science
2Being aware of the necessity of life-long learning, following the current developments in information and communication technologies, educating individuals who can assume leadership and managerial role in some small or medium sized enterprises
3To train individuals who can use algorithmic thinking and planning approach in practice, adapt to team work as an individual and perform research and development when necessary
4To train individuals who can produce employment in the related public institutions and establishments in firms that produce services in the sector and provide computer software and web software services
5To educate individuals who are active in the fields of decision-making and process planning, which will contribute to our country's workforce, equipped with the hardware and software development capabilities of the information technologies required by the industry
6At least one foreign language, using the European Language Portfolio A2 General Level, to train individuals who can follow the information in the field of computer science
7To educate individuals with awareness of professional ethics in their knowledge applications in terms of professional and ethical responsibility

AKTS, aynı zamanda, yükseköğretim kurumlarına, öğretim programları ve ders içeriklerinin iş yüküne bağlı olarak kolay anlaşılabilir bir yapıda tasarlanması, uygulanması, gözden geçirilmesi, iyileştirilmesi ve bu sayede yükseköğretim programlarının kalitesinin geliştirilmesine ve kalite güvencesine önemli katkı sağlayan bir sistematik yaklaşım sunmaktadır. ETIS : İstanbul Aydın University Education & Training System Istanbul Aydin University ECTS Information Package ECTS Information Package European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) which was introduced by the European Council in 1989, within the framework of Erasmus, now part of the Life Long Learning Programme, is a student-centered credit system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme specified in terms of learning outcomes and competences to be acquired. The implementation of ECTS has, since its introduction, has been found wide acceptance in the higher education systems across the European Countries and become a credit system and an indispensable tool supporting major aims of the Bologna Process and, thus, of European Higher Education Area as it makes teaching and learning in higher education more transparent across Europe and facilitates the recognition of all studies. The system allows for the transfer of learning experiences between different institutions, greater student mobility and more flexible routes to gain degrees. It also offers a systematic approach to curriculum design as well as quality assessment and improvement and, thus, quality assurance.
