Aim
1To educate teachers who are knowledgeable about the characteristics of students with special education needs, who can educate them considering their individual needs, and who are competent in the Turkish education system and special education regulations and who can work in this direction.
2To educate the teachers of the 21st century who have knowledge and skills about special education teaching field.
3Being a department that has achieved national prestige in its field; This area, which our country needs a lot of human power, is an important source of educating well-trained teachers in international standards.
4To create a teacher profile that will support the multifaceted development of children in need of special education.
5 To set an example for institutions and organizations working in this field with their scientific and application level studies in Special Education.
6To provide social support by adapting the developments in the social, cultural and artistic fields in our country to the field of special education.
Objectives
1To provide communication and social skills to students with special education needs and to increase their social acceptance,
2be able to guide and work with families on the continuity of the educational experience of the pupil in need of special education and the rights and responsibilities of special education,
3While providing education to the students with special education needs, especially using the applications based on scientific based methods efficiently,
4To prepare and apply individualized education programs in order to meet the educational, socio-emotional needs of the students with special education needs, to have the necessary knowledge about developmental characteristics of children with special education as well as children with special education,
5to eliminate or minimize the most problematic behavior problems that reduce the level of participation of the students and their peers in instructional activities and reduce the effectiveness of the education offered, to carry out the mainstreaming effectively and effectively, to teach the classroom teacher about the education- field teachers, inform school administrators and make interdisciplinary cooperation on supporting the development of the learner,

AKTS, aynı zamanda, yükseköğretim kurumlarına, öğretim programları ve ders içeriklerinin iş yüküne bağlı olarak kolay anlaşılabilir bir yapıda tasarlanması, uygulanması, gözden geçirilmesi, iyileştirilmesi ve bu sayede yükseköğretim programlarının kalitesinin geliştirilmesine ve kalite güvencesine önemli katkı sağlayan bir sistematik yaklaşım sunmaktadır. ETIS : İstanbul Aydın University Education & Training System Istanbul Aydin University ECTS Information Package ECTS Information Package European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) which was introduced by the European Council in 1989, within the framework of Erasmus, now part of the Life Long Learning Programme, is a student-centered credit system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme specified in terms of learning outcomes and competences to be acquired. The implementation of ECTS has, since its introduction, has been found wide acceptance in the higher education systems across the European Countries and become a credit system and an indispensable tool supporting major aims of the Bologna Process and, thus, of European Higher Education Area as it makes teaching and learning in higher education more transparent across Europe and facilitates the recognition of all studies. The system allows for the transfer of learning experiences between different institutions, greater student mobility and more flexible routes to gain degrees. It also offers a systematic approach to curriculum design as well as quality assessment and improvement and, thus, quality assurance.
